The Comorian government announced the installation of two EPS microgrids at Mohéli and Anjouan, the two volcanic islands next to Grande Comore, off the coast of Tanzania.

The two microgrids, respectively providing 8MW and 2MW, will be composed of solar coupled with a series of storage systems distributed throughout the island, which will supply clean energy for the 400,000 inhabitants.

With a ring structure around the volcanic promontory, the project represents one of the most complex microgrids ever built in the world.
