Engineer and entrepreneur, Gabriele has dedicated his professional life to the business development of innovative energy and technology companies
Before joining ENGIE Eps as Senior Vice President, Innovation: Power Electronics Lab & Mobility, he managed companies in the fields of magnetics, power electronics and renewable energies. He is co-founder of MCM Energy Lab, a spin off of the Politecnico di Milano, that he managed since the foundation in 2006. He developed the Energy Division at ELVI Elettrotecnica Vitali for more than 10 years, as Director of the Power Division. He is co-author of several international publications in the field of Power Electronics, Microgrids and Renewable Energies. He is co-inventor of patents related to Distributed Power Generation and Renewable Energies. He is lecturer and visiting professor of Electrical Engineering at the Renewable Energies and Hybrid Power Plants course of the Politecnico di Milano. Finally, he is member of the IEC TC120 Working Group, which develops the international standards about electrical Energy Storage Systems.
He holds a Degree in Business Administration from the SDA Bocconi School of Management (Milan, 1985), and graduated cum laude in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, in 1981.
